I received my Bachelor's degree in English education from Austin Peay State University in May 2005. I have since received a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction (2008) as well as a Master's in English Literature (2015). I'm currently enrolled in the English Literature doctoral program at Murray State University and require only six more classes before completion.

The 2017-2018 will be my 12th year teaching. I have been at Christian County High School since 2009. I have taught every grade (English I-IV) and many electives plus CCR Reading and CCR English.
