I received my Bachelors of Arts in Education from Murray State University.  I am dually certified in K-5 Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education.  I received my Masters in Teacher Leadership from University of the Cumberlands.  I am Proud to be a Christian County Colonel!  

My first year of teaching was at Crittenden County High School (13-14 school year).  I taught 1 year at Christian County Middle School (14-15 school year) then moved to Christian County High School (15-16 through present).  I love my job and I love the students who walk through our hallways everyday!

I am married to Coach Matt Day (HHS football Defensive Coach and Weight training coach).  We have one son, Blake, who graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School in 2013. We have 2 Yorkshire Terriers, Chopper and Bella, and a few cats and Goldfish!   We love pets.
