Meet the Teacher:

I started my career teaching high school at Christian County High School.  Twenty-one years later, you can still find me working here.  I have come to love the area and the people.

I graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelors Degree in English in 1996.  I went on to gain my teacher certification the next year and started work at County High in 1997.

I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Technology from University of Phoenix, earned in 2003.  I also completed a Master's Degree in Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University, in December of 2011.

I think that education is important to everything that we do in life and because of this, everything we do in class is meant to help my students learn how to pursue that goal.  Whether the degree is vocational or scholastic, the future will require highly skilled individuals to compete for fewer and fewer jobs.  Students exiting to the work world must be willing and ready to work hard to gain and keep employment.  This is what I must teach my students.
